This is a modular typeface called “Candelabra”. The inspiration for my modular typeface was a chandelier. Chandeliers have a lot of decorative pieces and a more organic structure. I thought creating a modular typeface based on it was an opportunity for a challenge. The typeface contains structure that a chandelier contains such as using the column as the stem and using the concept of the arms to create the anatomy of the letters.
Candelabra is a typeface that is best used on luxury or romantic themed material. This typeface would best be used as a decorative font on posters, flyers, etc. The typeface looks best when used enlarged, as a title or heading. This typeface is not recommended for body copy.
